Spanning five decades, the name Elden has become synonymous with formula cars and Formula Ford in particular. During the heady days of the early 1970s, Elden were the worlds largest racing car constuctor in terms of sales. Through triumphs, adversity and finally rebirth in current historic and vintage championships, Elden racing cars have been an ever present force in the motor racing world.

Drivers, young and old, have cut their teeth with an Elden – several even moving onto Le Mans 24, Indy 500 and Formula 1.

The eventual goal for this website is for you to be able to read the history of the company, explore the Elden cars from the early days right up to today, find out the history of each individual car and browse press cuttings, reports etc.
