This car was designed to meet R.A.C. Formula 4 250cc regulations and to accommodate the Villiers Starmaker 250cc engine. 

This was one of the first racing cars to use mallite composite materials outside of Formula 1, an advanced construction material especially when used for the lower racing divisons.

Peter and Brian exhibited the car at the 1967 Racing Car Show.

Updates to the Formula 4 regulations required multiple design changes and so the prototype car was later converted to become the Mk 4 prototype.
